Emma Koivisto joins Liverpool FC

Liverpool FC have signed full-back Emma Koivisto from Brighton on a two-year contract until June 2024.

The Finland international will join The Reds after Euro’s. Koivisto, are one of the players who has been with us from the beginning. We are super proud to be a part of your journey and looking forward to see what you can achieve in your new environment.

We asked some questions to Emma’s father Juki Koivisto.

Do you have any favorite team?

- My favourite team is just Liverpool.

Emma signing for Liverpool. How does that feel?

- I like Emma's signing a lot. I think Pool is for footplayers like Ferrari for Formula 1 drivers. Every driver prefer to be Ferrari-driver during his career.

Will you go to England for the Euro's and what do you think about Finlands chances?

- Yes, me and Emma’s mom will go. Emma’s brother will also join later. About Finland's chances must be realistic. Group B is most difficult in tournament and before Putellas injured Spain was my favourite to win whole Tournament. Germany is always good and Denmark is a top team too. I hope that Finland can battle tough games and keep nice numbers. Getting a point would be big suprise.

Who is the better golf player, you or Emma?

- As a golfer I'm absolutely better than Emma!
